Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Breathpace (the “app”) is a breathwork and somatic practice application published by Maciej Sady (the “developer”, “we”, “us”). Contact: maciejsadyapps@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

We do not collect any personal data. Specifically:

• No account or sign-up is required.
• No analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs are embedded.
• No crash or telemetry data is sent to us or any third party.
• No contacts, photos, location, microphone, or camera access is requested.

3. Data stored on your device

The app stores the following information locally on your device, in a private SQLite database managed by Android:

• Your session history (such as protocol, duration, and timestamp).
• Your app preferences (such as language and settings).
• Whether you have unlocked the optional paid upgrade.

This data never leaves your device. It is not synchronised to any cloud service and is not accessible to us. Uninstalling the app removes it.

4. Permissions

Breathpace uses standard system capabilities that do not require runtime permissions: vibration (haptic feedback), and preventing the screen from sleeping during a session. No sensitive permissions are requested.

5. Third-party services

The app is distributed via Google Play. Google Play may collect limited technical information (for example, installs, crashes, and device model) under its own privacy policy. This collection is performed by Google, not by us, and is governed by your Google account and Play settings.

6. In-app purchase

Breathpace offers an optional one-time paid upgrade (“Breathpace Pro”). Payments are processed by Google Play Billing. We never see, store, or transmit your payment details — Google handles the transaction as merchant of record and provides us with aggregated, non-personal sales reports only.

When you open the paywall or tap “Restore purchase”, the app asks Google Play whether your signed-in Google account already owns Breathpace Pro. The response stays on your device and is used solely to enable Pro features.

The app itself does not integrate any other third-party service, SDK, or network endpoint.

7. Children

Breathpace is a general-audience mindfulness tool. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. Because no data is collected at all, this applies to users of every age.

8. Your rights

Since we do not collect or process personal data, there is no personal data for us to access, rectify, export, or delete. You remain in full control of the data stored locally on your device: clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app removes it permanently.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
